When you get to the point of adding a credit card for the secondary folio, you MUST add a new card from the guest. DO NOT use the card that exists on file, this will be the VCC that will be used for the primary folio.
Select N for new card at this screen.

Process the transaction of the authorization with the guest credit card.

Once the secondary folio is filed, only the card associated with that folio will show up in modify guest or check out.

Credit Limit exceeded

Depending on your security level, you may or may not be able to create a transaction if this new transaction will cause the guests to exceed their credit limit.
If the credit limit is exceed, you will see a RED positive.
